Purpose of Thermal Insulation
- Protecting the (contents of) piping and equipment (including vapour density).
- Protection of the environment against temperature influences
- Personal protection of employees and bystanders
For this purpose various insulation materials can be applied. For protection of the outside influences, the insulation is mostly finished with a sheeting (aluminum or stainless steel), prefabricated and mounted by Henisol. An application of insulation matrasses is also possible.
